Old Clothing Upcycling Workshop
Hong Kong discards 250 tonnes of domestic textiles daily, which is equivalent to the weight of 17 double-decker buses, a truly astonishing amount. Disposed textiles pose not only a waste challenge but also contribute to a range of environmental issues. This workshop will apply handcrafting skills to transform what was once useless into something useful, and convey the message of cherishing resources and reducing waste. Let’s reuse our old clothing and create bottle net bags or eco-friendly carry bags while learning the principles of upcycling.
